Photography Workshops In Portsmouth

Learn, Shoot, Create

Hands-on photography training in our Portsmouth studio and around the South Coast.

Studio & Local Workshops

Studio workshops - Get hands-on with light, technique and creativity

Our working photography studio In Portsmouth gives us the space and control to explore techniques that can be difficult to practise at home or on location.

From lighting fundamentals and off-camera flash to creative colour and portraiture, our workshops combine demonstrations, practical shooting and honest feedback.

Location workshops - Make more of the places around you

You don't need a studio or an exotic location to create compelling photographs. Our Portsmouth and South Coast location workshops help you make more of the places around you, working with available light, composition and real-world challenges.

Learn to spot opportunities, experiment with different approaches and get more from the locations you already have.

We have a range of Half-Day and Full-Day workshops.

“James made the whole approach to studio lighting easy to understand which many others struggle to do.  Whilst the techniques were all about using one light ther were comprehensive and provided a great foundation for me to undertake my own studio photography (the chocolate brownies provided during the break were to die for)"
